KONKNNI MARTIR FLORIANO VAZ PUROSKAR Awardees
On 20 December 1986 Floraino Vaz was shot dead at Margão during the Konknni movement. He was the first martyr of Konknni. To remember his sacrifice TSKK has installed from 2006 Konknni Martir Floriano Vaz Puroskar. This award will be given to the best Konknni book written in Roman script during the calendar year. This annual award consists of Rs 5,000/- and a memento.
